YSEALI aspires to incite new ideas and innovations in civic engagement. We believe the youth of Malaysia is best placed to bring positive change within our communities. This year we call all aspiring leaders to advocate behind relevant causes that affect their communities in hopes of bringing a new frequency of ideation and execution.
The 9-month initiative aims to empower a community of Young Leaders with the opportunities and necessary skills in becoming relevant and impactful civic participants within Malaysian.

SPARKING NATIONAL CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
Each campaign will be supported by 3 months of mentorship, digital technology support, an endorsement from a local CSO and support of their local lawmakers. The 5 teams will be fully equipped to implement their campaigns to bring true change within their communities.
BUILDING MOMENTUM & CREATING CHANGE
Our on-ground team will lead half-day boot camps in 8 different cities around Malaysia in hopes of sparking national civic engagement. We want to find the leaders of tomorrow and help them bring change today. We will share our valuable tools, knowledge, and expertise in ushering your causes to the national stage. Only 1000 community members will be chosen and this boot camp will serve as a recruitment process in identifying the brightest leaders throughout the country. If you fit the bill, sign up now! SCALING & SUSTAINING IMPACT
The final stage will exponentially grow our
objectives and initiative through the launch of a Massive Open Online Course(MOOC) on Civic Engagement for all YSEALI members and aspiring youths.
The program will excite the passionate souls within Malaysia in finding those who are ready to advocate for pressing youth-related issues currently being faced within Malaysia.
We will champion the youth-led campaigns in implementing their civic engagements and bringing true impact within Malaysian communities.
